Election administration is a primary function of the Clerk's office. Effective January 1, 2005, under the new election consolidation law, elections are limited to four times per calendar year in February, May, August, and November, with an optional fifth date for school elections.

Election Drop Box Locations
We have two drop box locations available for voters to return absentee ballot applications and absentee ballots. These two locations are at the Township Offices in the driveway to the north of the building and in the parking lot of the Riley Street Fire Station. The Riley Street Fire Station drop box will be open for the 45 days prior to election day. Both drop boxes have 24-hour video surveillance. See the maps below for exact locations of the drop boxes.
1) Township Offices U-Drive Way to the North of the Main Building located at 353 N 120th Ave., Holland, MI 49424 (See blue bubble for exact location)
2) Riley Street Fire Station Parking Lot, 131 Riley St, Holland, MI 49424 (See blue bubble. Turn north from Riley St., turn to the right side of the parking lot, drive around to the back where the drop box is located, head south to get back onto Riley St.)
