Keep in mind that any man made structure that can hold 24 inches (deep) of water is classified as a swimming pool, inlcuding hot tubs and spas. This definition includes most in ground and above ground swimming pools, including inflatable pools, hot tubs and spas, both permanent and portable, as well as many whirlpool bathtubs.
