MDOT is investing approximately $17 million to rebuild 4.5 miles of eastbound and westbound I-196 Business Loop (BL) from US-31 in Holland to 88th Avenue in Zeeland. Work includes asphalt resurfacing, full-depth concrete joint repairs, new signs, traffic signal work, crosswalk safety improvements, and new guardrail. - 112th Avenue is scheduled to close at westbound I-196 Business Loop 7 a.m. today (Monday) through mid-September.

Eastbound I-196 Business Loop (BL) is OPEN between US-31 and 88th Avenue.
- Paw Paw Drive is scheduled to close at westbound I-196 BL through mid-November.
- Westbound I-196 Business Loop is scheduled to be CLOSED between 96th Avenue and US-31 through mid-November. During this time, the on ramps from westbound I-196 BL to northbound and southbound US-31 will also be closed.
