A Special Election is to be held on Tuesday, May 6.

Register to Vote

You can register to vote at the Clerk's office, County Clerk's office, Secretary of State branch office, or online at the SOS through April 21.  After April 21, you must register in person at the local Clerk's office to be eligible to vote in this election.  Voters who register to vote in person with their city or township clerk during the 14 days prior to the election, including on Election Day, must show proof of residency.

Absentee Ballots

Your request for an absent voter ballot must be submitted to the Township Clerk. You may request an absent voter ballot by submitting a paper application, an online application, a letter, a postcard, or a pre-printed application form obtained from the Clerk's office. Requests may be returned in person, via postal mail or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., as long as a signature is visible.

Clerk's Office Saturday Hours

The Clerk's office will be open Saturday, May 3 from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm to accept Absentee Voter Ballot requests. On that day voters may vote at the township office or take the ballot with them.

Absentee Ballot Deadlines

The last day the Clerk's office can mail absentee ballots is Friday, May 2. You may request an absentee ballot by coming into the office, until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5. All absentee ballots must be returned by 8:00 p.m. on election day in order to count. Voters registering to vote on election day may request an absentee ballot until 8:00 pm, however, they must vote the ballot in the office.

Early Voting

The May election is a local election, there will not be Early Voting available.
