We are happy to share that the Holland Charter Township Community Center is getting the final touches and is set to open later this summer to our community! Each day brings a lot of visible progress, and excitement is building. We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome the community to this brand-new space very soon!
Here is a quick look at how things are going:
- The track, flooring, pickleball court surface, and basketball court surface have been installed.
- Fitness flooring has been installed, and fitness equipment is being set up.
- Interior and exterior lighting have been installed.
What’s up next:
- Furniture will be installed soon!
- Finishing touches to bring everything together!
- Opening Day…. TBA!

Our New Community Center Director
We’re excited to welcome Ben Bekius to the Holland Charter Township team as our new Community Center Director! Ben brings a strong background in community-based marketing, partnership development, and facility operations. He was born and raised in West Michigan and lives in the area with his wife and daughter.
